Budget Beauty | $2 BOE Beauty

Hi, Hey, Hello :)
If your from Australia, you may of noticed recently in Big W, they now stock a small new brand called BOE beauty. Some of the items include eye shadows, lipsticks, lip glosses, mascaras, powders, bronzers and nail polishes and every single one of these items are $2! Though there is a limited choice in colours.
Now, I was kinda on the ledge weather to try these products or not, so I only purchased 3 coming in at a bloody cheap $6.
Firstly I picked up one of the eye shadows. Now the packaging is extremely tacky and cheap. (Hence the price) The duo I got was a light shimmery white and a shimmery brown. Swatched they didn't look to bad. BUT they are horrible, I found as soon as I applied it to my eyelids it fell off in a matter of seconds, they where extremely hard to apply and basically resembled dust. So the eye shadow was defs a let down for me. But I do recommend them for children who want to smear them on there faces...... or dog.
Then I tried the lipsticks, annnnnnnd LOVED THEM. The 2 colours I purchased where Coral Kiss and Natural Tea Rose. They are extremely good for the price! They are well pigmented and you don't have to ram it into your lips for the colour to go on nicely, as in the picture above that's just one swipe of each. Though I wears off after a while and you have to reapply it but that was no problem for me.  There are only 4 colours to chose from and I'll defiantly be purchasing the other 2!
So far I'm not sure about this brand and I'm not keen on trying the other products but I will tell you now, Go out and try the lipsticks!!!! I mean there only $2 :)

Budget Beauty | Ulta3 Nail Polish

Hey, Hi, Hello.
I've decided to do a few posts of easy affordable makeup and beauty products that really anyone can afford and give you my good old opinion on them. :)
Ulta3 Nail Polishes - I've been using them from years and love them. There are some faults but they are great for there price!
They can be picked up at mainly any local chemist, I've never seen them in price line though. They come in at just the cheap price of $2 !! Now of course they wont be as good quality as the higher end nail polishes, but I find that these stay on for quiet a long time.
There colour selection is hugeeeee! They range from natural shades, metallic, neon's,  darks, pastels, top coats and glitters.
The formula is quiet thin so you will have to apply at least 2 - 3 coats. 4 being at the most.
Above are my 4 favourite shades at the moment.
 (Left to Right)
Envy - Is a very metallic glittery silver shade, I've found out of all the nail polishes in this brand this is the one that barely chips and only needs 1-2 coats.
Sunset Pink - A great summer colour, it's basically a hot pink. After 2 coats it's basically the colour in the bottle, the only downside I found of this one is that after about a week and a half of wearing it turns a dull red!
Hollywood - An amazing metallic blue that is long wearing!
Black Plum - It goes on as a very deep purple and I love it. Its long wearing like Hollywood and makes a great winter colour.
There is a downside with some of the colours, like baby pink and lemon tart. They are sooooooo streaky and need one million coats to put on, and by the time you have finished you basically have the whole bottle on your nails. :(
Other then that I highly recommend them, though you may get addicted to them as I usually end up buying at least 4 at a time since they are such a great price :)

Review | Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation

Hey, Hi, Hello.
This is my first blog post and I thought what better then to do one of my all time favorite beauty products!
The Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation.
I purchased mine in 'Soft Beige' . Now I actually think I may of been asleep while I purchased this shade as it's a million shades to dark for me as i'm white as a ghost! (No offence to ghosts) but it has done me well this summer as i've been tanned. There are only 7 shades available so there isn't going to be a match for everyone.
The bottle claims that the foundation has an anti-fatigue effect with a radidant glow, I believe it does just that!  It really brightens up your face giving it a healthy glow which I look for as I have such dull skin.
This foundation has a medium coverage, but is very builderable without looking or being to heavy.
If you do look very closely at the actual foundation you'll see that it looks very shimmery, some people debate over weather its good or not  I found that it doesn't  show up extremely shimmery unless your under a very very bright light. But I love the shimmer in it. The SPF 15 makes this foundation even better as I don't have to apply any sunscreen and found that the foundation was enough alone cause after all you've gotta slip slop slap espesh in the Aussie heat! Also the product has a pleasant smell, to me its kinda fruity and summery!

I found that this was quiet a thick foundation, but it has really easy application and the bottle includes a pump which makes life that little bit easier again.
Lastly I just loveeeeeeee the packaging. I comes in a glass bottle making in look high end, and overall I just love it!
When I purchased mine its was $20 from Priceline, that was months ago though, lately I've been seeing them on  sale everywhere for $17 and below. I overall love this product and recommend it :)
