Blog Everyday In May Day 1: My Life in 250 Words

Hey hey!
So it's the first day of the "Blog everyday in May". Day 1 asks bloggers to tell thier life story in 250 words, here I go! :)

On the 24th of April 1995 I made my first appearance into the world. I was born with a deformity in the hip causing me to live in a big plaster nappy thing for a few months. I made me look like I had a big Nicki Minaj bum but it was ok because it was pink!
Two years later my younger brother was born. Though these days he isn’t so small as he towers over me being over 6ft!
Now onto primary school, I quiet liked it and one of my many memories of it was playing with beanie kids during lunch and recess with my friends. Even one day we got them stuck in a tree….. while it was raining.
Then came high school, I loved year 7 and 8. This one time our teacher sent our whole class to the corner….. He was a tad odd. Then year 10 came along, and year 10 meant one thing, a camp to Queensland! We went to the many theme parks and although I’m not a fan of rides I still loved it. Untill I got sick. I started to feel quiet sick on the second day. I thought it would pass… it didn’t. When I returned home I went to doctor after doctor and had test after test. And now after 2 years I’m still sick. I’ve kinda learnt to get used to it but somedays it stops me from going to school and going out in gereral. But life goes on J
I’m now in my last year of school and can’t wait for it to finish, I hope to move to Melbourne next year and study Fashion and Textiles merchandising in uni.
So that’s my life so far in a TINY nutshell!

Blog Everyday In May!

Hey hey!
So recently I was blog surfing and came along a challenge held by Jenni called "Blog Everyday In May" and thought i'd give it a go :) Be sure to check out Jenni's blog it's lovely :)
Here are the rules:
1. There really aren't any rules. If you miss a day, you can make it up or skip it. The blog police will not come knocking.
2. I will be including a linkup option at the bottom of my post each day, so you are welcome to leave your links here for others to peruse, as well.
3. You can still post other things every day, too. I plan to do normal outfit posts, life posts, around-Austin posts, and sponsor posts just like usual.

4. I'd seriously love you if you also include the "blog every day in May" button (below) either on your sidebar or at the end of your posts, but again, the blog police will not come knocking. My main goal here is to get us all back to the basics of blogging, not to gain a million new readers (though I wouldn't mind that).
5. Here are the topics. You can be as creative and awesome or as boring and bland as you like with these. Take 'em and run with it. Use creative post titles. Interpret each "prompt" however you like. There's no wrong way to do it. Have fun.

Day 1, Wednesday: The story of your life in 250 words or less (or one paragraph... no one will be counting your words... probably)
Day 2, Thursday: Educate us on something you know alot about or are good at. Take any approach you'd like (serious and educational or funny and sarcastic)
Day 3, Friday: Things that make you uncomfortable
Day 4, Saturday: Favorite quote (from a person, from a book, etc) and why you love it
Day 5, Sunday: Publicly profess your love and devotion for one of your blogger friends. What makes them great? Why do you love them? If you don't have blogger friends, talk about a real-life friend or even a family member
Day 6, Monday: If you couldn't answer with your job, how would you answer the question, 'what do you do'?
Day 7, Tuesday: The thing(s) you're most afraid of
Day 8, Wednesday: A piece of advice you have for others. Anything at all.

Day 9, Thursday: A moment in your day (this can be just a photo or both a photo and words)
Day 10, Friday: Most embarrassing moment (s). Spill.
Day 11, Saturday: Sell yourself in 10 words or less
Day 12, Sunday: What do you miss? (a person, a thing, a place, a time of your life...)
Day 13, Monday: Issue a public apology. This can be as funny or as serious or as creative as you want it to be.
Day 14, Tuesday: Ten things that make you really happy
Day 15, Wednesday: A Day in the life (include photos from throughout your typical day - this could be "a photo an hour" if you'd like)
Day 16, Thursday: Something difficult about your "lot in life" and how you're working to overcome it
Day 17, Friday: A favorite photo of yourself and why
Day 18, Saturday: Tell a story from your childhood. Dig deep and try to be descriptive about what you remember and how you felt.
Day 19, Sunday: Five of your favorite blogs and what you love about them
Day 20, Monday: Get real. Share something you're struggling with right now.
Day 21, Tuesday: A list of links to your favorite posts in your archives
Day 22, Wednesday:
Rant about something. Get up on your soapbox and tell us how you really feel. (a pet peeve, a current event, a controversial topic, something your husband or roommate or neighbor or boss does that really ticks you off)
Day 23, Thursday: Things you've learned that school won't teach you
Day 24, Friday: Your top 3 worst traits
Day 25, Saturday: Something someone told you about yourself that you'll never forget (good or bad)
Day 26, Sunday: Something you read online. Leave a link and discuss, if you'd like.
Day 27, Monday: A letter to your readers
Day 28, Tuesday: Only pictures
Day 29, Wednesday: Five songs or pieces of music that speak to you or bring back memories. Use
Grooveshark or YouTube to include them in the post
Day 30, Thursday: React to this term: Letting Go
Day 31, Friday: A vivid memory
I'm actually quiet exited to do this, and since it's the first of May I'll get going to writing day 1!
Be sure to check out the original post here and give it a go yourself.

Style Sunday | Caroline Flack

HeyHey!
This style Sunday is going to be on the gorgeous Caroline Flack!
She has great style and I simply love love love her hair. Oh and I would kill for her legs! (but then again what girl wouldn't?) So here are a few of my favourite outfits of hers! :)

When I hit my 30's I honestly wish that I could look anything like her! O__o

This is a really cute outfit which she wore to the 2012 Brits.  I love the dark blazer with the matching shorts. Shorts to the Brits you say!? Well I'd get my legs out to if I had legs like that!

Them legs......

Logies 2013

Hey Hey! :)
Last Sunday was the Logies. If your not from Australia it's the yearly TV week awards. I really only watched it to check out the dresses cause in all honesty it kinda bores me.

Been seeing a lot of red on the red carpet lately! My favorite dressed on the night was the gorgeous Samara Weaving in this lacey red gown.

Fishy, fishy, fishy loved both these fish tail gown worn by Kylie Gillies and Carrie Bickmore. I espesh love the pink dress with the lace detailing.

Congrats to Gold Logie winner Asher Keddie buttttttt I can't say the same thing to her dress. I find the dress to boring and well it looks like she is wearing a bib.

"Ahhhh help me i'm chocking!" hahah, I'm not a fan of  the neck line on this but its still an amazing dress mainly cause Jennifer Hawkins is wearing it.

Brynne Brynne Brynne, Gurlllllll it looks like your dress is made out of white spaghetti and that clutch looks like a taco with a handle.....  I like nothing at all of this look!

Nude by Nature Review | Powders

Hey Hey :)
Nude by Nature is probably one of my most used make-up brands and i'm not going to lie I'm pretty sure I own almost all there products ranging from foundation, lip gloss, eyeliners, oils, powders brushes and plenty more.
I'm a big fan of this brand as it's GREAT for sensitive skin. I suffer from a few skin conditions I have found that this brand does not make me flare up at all :)

The 3 powders they do are:
Natural Mineral Cover Foundation (Available in Light, light/medium, medium and dark)
-Lightweight and not cakey
-SPF 15
-Radiant look
-Doesn't make me breakout
-Toxic Free
-Medium Coverage

Mineral Bronzer
-Great sun-kissed color
-A slight shimmer which I love

Mineral Finishing Veil
-Lightweight
-Has a gorgeous glow to it
-Great finishing powder

I purchase mine from Priceline. They offer them in different packs with many things. The latest one I got had all 3 powders, 3 lip glosses, tinted moisturizer and a brush. The price is on the higher end of drug store makeup. A 15ml mineral cover priced at $39.95. I prefer to get the packs which range in price from $14.95 to $189.95. The ones I usually get are around $50.00.

I defiantly recommend these powders espesh if you have sensitive skin and I'll be doing more reviews of their products in the near future! :)

Style Sunday | Cara Delevingne

Hey hey :)
Happy April! Here in Australia its just hit Autumn which means cooler weather which im looking foward to!

Today's 'Style Sunday' is on up and coming British model Cara Delevingne.
I absolutely love her look and adore her stand out eyebrows.

So I wanted to focus on what she wears when she's not modeling, she has a great sense of fashion and I find that she makes anything look good no matter what she wears.

I kinda get the feeling she's a big fan on the beanies and statement tee's!?

Want to get noticed? Why not wear a shirt with a pair of titties on the front!

I love this outfit it's really simple and I would love to own those boots!

And of course Cara pulls some of the best facials!

Have a great week! :)

Shabby Apple Wishlist.

Hiya :)
So I've come across a clothing website called Shabby Apple. They have the most lovely clothes! There clothes have a very vintage style to them. They also have shoes, swimwear, accessories, maternity, kids, arts and crafts.
Here are a few of my faves off the website, feel free to take a look and hope you enjoy it as much as me! :)

Scalloped tiers of openwork lace in a soft pink hue descend from a dainty grosgrain ribbon that defines the waist of the Alice dress. The charming shape--cap sleeves and a high boat neck, nipped at the waist and full through the skirt--lets the color do all the talking (or is that your next door neighbor wishing out loud that she knew your style secrets?). Dress it up with dainty kitten heels or bold tights for a perfectly eye-popping look.
I love this pink lace dress that has a ribbon across the middle. It's gorgeous and feminine. I think it would be great for a wedding or just a day out.

Wonderland meets Gatsby in this ivory lace lovely, with a flapper-inspired shape and Victorian flare. The simple, straight silhouette, with short sleeves and a below-the knee cut shines in stretch lace overlay and a charmeuse lining. The perfect canvas for a fancy topper, bold accessories, and statement shoes, it will become your spring staple for years to come.
How cute is this ivory lace dress!? It has short sleeves and falls just below the knees. I think this dress would look lovely dressed up with accessories.

With dainty white dots and a darling peter pan collar, this dress is made for dancing. A delicate, tiffany-blue chiffon overlays this frock’s sleek lining. The accordion pleats at the waistline are perfect for twirling or for being anyone’s baby.
Tiffany Blue Chiffon dress with accordion pleated skirt and a Peter Pan collar. This dress is gorgeous. I simply love the colors and polka dots which i'm a huge fan of.

Embrace your inner 50s hostess in the Overboard dress. Piped with perfect details, this blue and white gingham doll of a shirtdress will have you serving up trays of lobster rolls and summer punch and charming the masses in no time. The full a-line skirt falls just to the knee from the defined waistline, and a row of oversized buttons rises up the shirt front with bright white piping keeping them in line. Slip it on and set sail for the perfect summer getup.
50's style shirt dress. Simple but dressy at the same time. I think it would look great on anyone who is pear shape as it sinches in a the waist.
